Homegoods $100 GC Giveaway

Last Saturday I took a little trip to Atlanta for a private Blogher shopping event at Homegoods. For me to tell you it was awesome would be a total understatement. I mean, who wouldn't love shopping with free money. :)

As I mentioned in my last post, I had decided before I went to try to buy things for the new baby's room. Yeah, um, that didn't really happen. I walked into Homegoods and lost my FREAKING MIND! My needs and wants were having an all out war in my head.

 Things I need.... boring kitchen scissors. 

Things I want... All of this fun summer stuff!

Things I want...All of these adorable comforters. 

Luckily for me I came to my senses before walking out with 100 cute tumblers. I was given a $100 giftcard to spend, and it was a lot harder to spend then I thought it was going to be. The prices were amazing so I managed to get a full cart of stuff and still come in under budget.

I found some really fun kitchen scissors, bamboo cutting boards, and this adorable bright summery strainer. The best of both worlds. Fun and practical!

I also found something for London and even a few things for the new baby's nursery. 

I even spoiled myself with a new set of wine glasses. I know, I know! I'm can't drink, but I won't be pregnant forever. And in the mean time I will just pretend by using them for fresh fruit punch. It sure beats non-alcoholic beer :)

It's that time again!! After having such a great response during the Yoga4Fertility DVD giveaway, we are going to do it again.

Strong Yoga4Fertility is a program created by award winning actress Brenda Strong, best known for her role as Mary Alice Young on ABC's Desperate Housewives. After her own personal struggle with infertility, she created a program  to help woman naturally increase their fertility through yoga.
Her Yoga4Fertility DVD was a great and I really enjoyed reviewing it. This time I was given the opportunity to review The Fertility Ball and Strong Fertility Ball Yoga Method.

I tested out The Fertility Ball and really really enjoyed it (and so did London). I was trying alot of the different poses and London came and sat on top of me. Not exactly the relaxation I was looking for. At nap time, I tried again. This time I tested out the majority of the poses, I say majority because a few just looked a little to difficult for a beginner like me. I really liked it and definitely plan on using it again, especially when I start IVF. I am not fond of acupuncture just the idea of it gives me the heeby jeebies, not even to mention how expensive it gets. So I am planning to using this to hit the fertility acupressure points that will hopefully have similar effects to acupuncture.
